Race Information

Start time:

Our half marathon race starts at 8AM on September 12, 2021. The 5K starts 15 minutes later at 8:15am.

Cut-off time:

Our cut-off time is 12PM (4 hours). Due to permit limitations for the park, we need to make sure that no runners are on the course after this time.

Aid stations:

We have three aid stations for the half marathon run by volunteers at mile markers 3.2, 7.2, and 9.9. Each Aid Station will be well stocked with gels, water, and sport drinks. Note that WE ARE A CUPLESS RACE and recommend that every runner bring/carry their own water bottle.

We will provide race day registration on September 12 starting from 6:30AM. Please arrive no later than 7:30AM.

Please bring exact change or a check.

Bib pickup:

We will have bib pick up on the following dates and locations:

ARM Burlingame (4pm to 6pm on Friday, September 10):

Sports Basement at Stonestown has also generously offered the following discount for participants during bib pickup:

28% off for Basementeers.  Basementeers take 20% off then add their 10% for a total of 28% off.  

*Non-Basementeers still get 20% off. Exclusions will apply

If you cannot make it to bib pickup on 9/11, please contact us to make arrangements.

Before you get your bib, you will need to read and sign a “Habitat Awareness” document, stating that you will not run off trail, and that you will be a courteous runner when someone wants to pass you.  Failure to abide by these responsible trail requirements will result in disqualification.

Directions:

The start and finish area will be located at the intersection of Visitacion Ave and San Francisco Ave in Brisbane, CA. Find the location on Google Maps here. Public transport information was kindly provided by our club member Jason Lee and is found here!

County Park Requirements:

Dogs are not allowed in the park, nor on our course.  If spectators want to view runners from the Saddle Area, there will be a $6.00 per vehicle entry fee – please car pool.  You will be running in an area that is critical habitat for several endangered butterflies.  If you run off trail, you will be disqualified.

Shirts/Awards:

All Half Marathon runners will receive a race t-shirt* and race medal upon finishing the race. 5K runners will only receive a t-shirt*; no medals or awards will be given for this distance.

*Must register by September 7 to receive a shirt.

There will be awards from A Runner’s Mind and Sports Basement for the top 3 finishers in the Half Marathon and 5K, plus the first age division finishers in the Half Marathon (under 30, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
